Timeless Watch

Alex Streeter's surrealist homage to of the famous Cartier Tank Watch, the Timeless Watch was originally carved in the 1980's as a "perplexing status object". Set with a single sapphire on the dial, this ironic melting non-watch offered subversive commentary on the rampant greed and conspicuous consumption of the Material Girl Era. Today the Timeless Watch remains as a silver reminder to always live in the Eternal Now - Time, after all, is simply what you make of it...
